Relaxation DVD (Featuring all new music written by Jonathan Nicholson)

This DVD is the brainchild of talented local filmmaker Bill Raddatz, and is a spectacular combination of beautiful Northwest imagery, and the subtle, soothing and unique guitarwork that Jonathan is becoming known for. Jonathan was hired to write and record all of the music specifically for this project, which is made up of four natural relaxation videos, all on one DVD!

This was a live performance from Spokane, WA at The Metropolitan Performing Arts Theatre, and was a showcase of some Spokane's best acoustic musicians. This was the first of the Coffeehouse Creatures series (there have been two so far, and there are rumors of a third), and featured Jonathan (Calliope's Burden), Sidhe and Don Kush, among others. Live versions of "In Our Youth" and "Wish List" appear on the cd.

Fall Walks - Fall Walks

This was a side project of Jonathan's that was quite a departure from his fingerstyle music, focusing on a more haunting, gothic ethereal sound. Very influenced by groups like The Cure, Cocteau Twins, etc.

This was the band that Jonathan joined in high school, and after many years (and many lineup changes) they recorded this album before finally breaking up. They were more of an alternative rock band which created beautiful layers and textures within their music.
